Description

The fluid end is the high-pressure portion of the triplex or quintuplex fracturing pump, responsible for containing and directing the fracturing fluid under pressures up to 15,000 psi or higher

RIGRS fluid end

It is composed of three or five individual plunger assemblies, each including:
Plunger or piston,Discharge valve assembly,Suction valve assembly,Valve seats and springs,Fluid end block (forged body).
The fluid end connects to the power end via a pony rod or extension rod, and to the manifold via flanged or studded connections.

Features and advantages of RIGRS fluid end frac pump:

Monoblock Forging: Eliminates weld seams, ensuring uniform stress distribution.
Cross-Bore Optimization: Smooth transitions to minimize stress concentrations and crack initiation.
Threadless Valve Covers: Reduce leak paths and allow faster maintenance.
Replaceable Seats and Inserts: Simplify service procedures, lowering downtime.
Improved Flow Path Geometry: Minimizes turbulence and erosion inside the chamber.

Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance Programs for fluid end pump:

Visual Inspection: Daily checks for cracks, leaks, or unusual wear.
Magnetic Particle or Dye Penetrant Testing: Every 250 operational hours or before each job cycle.
Hydrostatic Pressure Testing: At 1.5× the rated working pressure before reassembly.
Valve and Seat Replacement: Typically every 200–300 hours of operation, depending on fluid type.
Plunger and Packing Replacement: When leakage exceeds recommended limits or during scheduled overhauls.
Routine fluid ends re-certification according to API Spec 11E or ISO 15156 ensures compliance and operational safety.
