API 5CT Oil Tubing pipe
OCTG Tubing pipe is a slender steel pipe used to transport oil and gas from the bottom of the well to the ground in oil and gas wells. It is the core component of the production pipe string.
- The functions of oil pipe include:
Transmit oil and gas flow (including crude oil, natural gas, formation water, etc.).
Withstand high pressure in the well (wellhead pressure can reach tens to hundreds of MPa).
Adapt to the complex environment of high temperature and corrosive media (such as H₂S, CO₂, high mineralization brine) underground.
Structure and materials of oil pipe
Structure of oil pipe: mainly seamless steel pipe, the outer diameter is generally 2 3/8″~4 1/2″, and the wall thickness is thin (5~10mm).
Material of oil pipe:
API standard steel grade: J55, N80, L80, P110.
High-end materials: corrosion-resistant 13Cr, super 13Cr, duplex stainless steel (for high sulfur or sour gas wells).

HDPE lined anti-corrosion oil pipe: HDPE lined oil pipe is a special purpose of adding HDPE lining pipe to the inner wall of standard oil pipe, which has wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
Ultra-high temperature polymer (POK) lined oil pipe: It solves the corrosion and wear resistance problems of high temperature sections of oil and water wells, and uses lining hoop and matching lined oil pipe to solve the eccentric wear and corrosion problems of oil pipes.
Stainless steel lined oil pipe:
Stainless steel lined oil pipe is a stainless steel pipe that meets the use requirements and technical specifications of stainless steel lined oil pipe through special processes such as interlacing and inlaying.
Nickel-based alloy anti-corrosion oil pipe:
Compared with ordinary API 5CT Tubing pipe, it can achieve a flow drag reduction rate of 26.9%, and can resist the corrosion of media such as sulfide, CO2, and salt water, ensuring the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the oil pipe, and solving the corrosion and wear problems of oil well oil pipes.
Wax-proof and insulated oil pipe: Anti-corrosion lined insulated oil pipe is used in wax-proof wells to reduce the wax cleaning work of oil wells and prevent the work of repairing wells caused by wax stuck in the rod column.
